As an optional tour: Visit the Koala Conservation Centre to see the Koalas up close in a natural environment. Town of Cowes Seal Rock, Nobbies Phillip Island Nature Park. Arriving 30 minutes before penguins start to come out and spend 1 hour enjoying the spectacle of the parade.

Day 1 Arrive in Cairns

Day 2. Great Barrier Reef Cruise.

The Great Barrier Reef is undisputed as one of the world's most important natural assets. It is the largest natural feature on earth stretching more than 2,300km along the northeast coast of Australia from the northern tip of Queensland to just north of Bundaberg. Enjoy the day on the rref including a tropical light lunch and snorkelling equipment.

Day 3 Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walkway and Wooroonooran Safari

  • Wooroonooran National Park is located half an hour drive south of Cairns city. It offers stunning pristine rainforest with fantastic World Heritage attractions including Australia's most spectacular canopy walk. osephine Falls is a secluded freshwater swimming hole, located at the foot of Queensland's tallest mountain, Mt. Bartle Frere (1622m).
  • A series of waterfalls flow into large pools surrounded by boulders. Rainforest trees hang over the water, keeping it cool and refreshing. We take a short walk to a series of dramatic cascading waterfalls amidst the lush tropical rainforest. Cuddle a crocodile or a python for your souvenir photo. Join the amazing crocodile feeding show and take close-up photos of these ancient creatures.
  • Hand feed kangaroos and emus, and meet the endangered cassowaries and dingos. Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walkway
  • Experience one of Australia's grandest man-made structures in a natural environment. With its combination of a canopy walk high in the tree tops, an observation tower, viewing decks and cantilever, it brings you close to new unexplored spheres of the rainforest.

DARWIN / KAKADU DRKC01

Day 1. Arrive Darwin.

Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel as chosen below. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2. Darwin to Kakadu National Park.

Depart Darwin for a full day of exciting touring. Travel across the Marrakai Plains into the World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park. The park's natural and cultural significance has made it a national treasure. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and gain an insight into the culture and history, the park holds for its traditional owners.

Join a guided boat cruise on Yellow Water billabong, Kakadu's most famous wetland area. Keep a look out for the powerful saltwater crocodiles, diverse birdlife and beautiful water lilies. After lunch travel to the Nourlangie art sites and view the ancient galleries of artwork. The unique X-ray style works record the traditional cultures, changes and evolution of the land and people over the last 40 000 years. Overnight in Kakadu

Day 3. Kakadu to Darwin.

You have the opportunity to take a morning flight over the Arnhem Land Escarpment (own expense). Travel to Ubirr to see superbly preserved Aboriginal rock art, dating back 20 000 years. The dramatic X-ray style paintings and Mimi figures depict the region over the centuries. Enjoy views of the surrounding Nardab floodplains before joining Aboriginal guides, for a cruise on the East Alligator River.
Learn of the flora, fauna, Aboriginal mythology and history of the region and, by special permission, take a short walk into Arnhem Land. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre and view displays about the park. En route to Darwin stop at Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine whilst watching the changing light of day over the wetlands. Overnight in Darwin.

Day 4. Darwin to your next stop.

Today is at leisure until you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight. You may stay longer if you wish.

ADELAIDE CITY PACKS ADL01

Day 1. Arrive Adelaide.

Day 2. Barossa Valley.

A full day excursion to the famous Barossa Valley . Originally settled by Germans, the little towns are still a picturesque part of Australia ’s largest wine growing area. Wine tasting and lunch are included.

Day 3. Kangaroo Island

  • Transfer from Adelaide Hotel to Airport check in for your flight to Kangaroo Island.
  • Arrive at Kingscoote Airport and meet your driver and head for Seal Bay where your driver / guide takes you on the beach for a fascinating, informed walk amongst the sea-lions, a colony of 600 bulls, cows and pups.
  • Afterwards, we take a welcome morning tea break with home-made biscuits, freshly ground coffee, and tea.
  • On to spend a wonderful few hours in the Island's largest park, Flinders Chase, 74,000 hectares. We have the opportunity to see an abundance of Australian native wildlife at Rocky River, headquarters of the Park. From there we drive through dense forest of Eucalyptus and Casuarina to Admirals Arch and the colony of New Zealand fur seals. Their haul-out area at the Arch itself provides a wonderful viewing area of the colony at play or rest. The ocean views are fantastic as we progress towards Remarkable Rocks. Marvel at this geological natural wonder of “modern art” formed over 500 million years ago!. Here we wander through the sculptures of granite, carved by natural forces. Head back to Rocky River for a BBQ lunch of marinated steak, onions and potatoes, cooked in front of you by your guide (now turned chef!). This is complimented by fresh salads, local KI wines and other refreshments. For dessert spoil yourself by indulging in our special Pears poached in KI red wine, accompanied by KI’s unique Sheep’s Milk Yogurt. All this served in the bush, nestled amongst the beautiful tall Gum trees.
  • After our meal, we head for Koala Avenue just outside the Park where Koalas are easily seen in the ‘Manna Gums’ that grow in the area.
    Our tour concludes with your departure at the airport, Flight from Kangaroo Island to Adelaide. Or if you choose a ferry ride back to Adelaide.

The Sunshine Coast, home of the Crocodile Hunter and Australia Zoo,  This tour goes directly to and from Australia Zoo, made famous by the antics of Steve and Terri Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter) and You will have time to experience the best of Australia Zoo.

View the majestic Glasshouse Mountains bordered by pineapple plantations and pine forests as you travel along the Glasshouse Mountains scenic route.
